We are enjoying all the pleasures of springtime in Normandy. Highlights include a seafood lunch in the harbor of Honfleur,
a hike and refreshments at Etretat,
playing on the beach in Deauville and Trouville-Sur-Mer, taking in the incredible Bayeaux Tapestry, shopping in the brocante market in St. Pierre-Sur-Dives, and having Chateau Vendeuvre all to ourselves today.
In addition to the food, history and pastoral pleasures, we are here in Normandy to honor my paternal grandfather who dropped into D-Day as a paratrooper and returned home a hero. More on that to come...
